COLOUR FLOW

INSPIRATION

This Winter revolves around nature’s natural movement & flow, where science underpins the laws of pattern formation. Todd & Duncan meanders freely towards this concept with Colour Flow, where a sense of intuitive colour rhythm is expressed creatively through the AW26|27 collection.

T&D’s inspiration also connects with product designer Hella Jongerius’s 3D woven sculptural pieces, looking at the boundaries between art & craft; as well as quieter community tapestry folk-art where story telling is shared using local & traditional makers skills.

COLOUR – Extensive colour research opens new opportunities this Autumn, with an amass of colour to relish and indulge in. Initial pointers are – a new intense black; an extensive range of new melanges; and a broad offer across softer cashmere shades from warm to cool. Liberating for those in an explorative mood.

YARNS & STRUCTURES – Capitalising on cosy-feel yarns T&D launches a new cashmere yarn to work across a range of qualities, bringing character and softness to new blends Illusion and Coaran. T&D’s knit structures work around an edit of geometric cross-stitch tapestry patterns & fragmented wovens across the gauges, adding energy and interest.

As makers of intense magical darks we celebrate Matt Black our new companion to Black, Nero Navy and others.

An extensive update of new melanges enriches our cashmere palettes - from lighter tones of Corncrake & Beechnut, to richer tones of Mizzle & Vermouth.

A family reshuffle creates an opportunity to introduce new classics - Red Queen a bold red; Flamenco a vibrant fuchsia; Hermitage a strong green.

Luxury is at the heart of Illusion. From inspiration, capturing the Scottish mountainous winter terrain with snowy-scapes flecked & rugged; to interpretation, where each muted melange colour is combined with soft-white to create a gentle rounded yarn that exudes quality – for the 5ndle.

New – CAORAN

The cachet of Caoran is it’s soft touch and bounce-like handle. A superior Cashmere yarn twisted with Superfine Lambswool, Caoran holds structures and smart-jersey with ease and is the epitome of a ‘Classic’ yarn. The palette is calm whilst colourful, confident yet commercial, a delight to work with and the ultimate affordable luxury - for the 8ndle.

PITTI FILATI – We will be at Pitti Filati, Fortezza da Basso, stand H10-12 Piano Terra from 1^st – 3^rd July, and look forward to showing you the new collection.

SPIN EXPO SHANGHAI - We will be at Spin Expo in Shanghai from 19^th - 21^st August. We look forward to sharing this season with you.
